J. Ross Bagshaw, Q.C.

Colleen is a wonderful person.  She is a Chartered Accountant who has an in depth knowledge & understanding of PCLaw and has the personality to connect and teach anyone. Colleen is punctual, approachable  and gets right down to the issues at hand. She explains things well and then follows up on a timely basis.

I believe that she can succeed in anything to which she applies her mind.

The Foundation of My Practice

TRUST

Trusting a consultant with the details of your firm’s operations and finances is daunting.  Firms need to be sure the information shared goes no further, and that the consultant always has the firm’s best interest at heart.

RELATIONSHIP

If the Trust is there, working together over time cements the Relationship.   Without mutual Trust, there is no Relationship.

PROACTIVE

Knowledge gained through the ongoing Relationship allows for Proactive advice.  Honest, timely Communication is the key.

When I started my own law firm in 2010, I was referred to Colleen to manage the firm’s books. Happily, Colleen agreed to take me on as a new client.  Now, eight years later, I cannot imagine working with anyone else in this capacity. Colleen is so much more than an outstanding bookkeeper: she’s an advisor, someone who looks out for our firm’s best interests, and is proactive in making sure things run smoothly.  She understands the Law Society of Ontario’s requirements and deadlines, and she  is exceptionally knowledgeable about PCLaw.  Colleen has a very professional and friendly manner, and I highly recommend her.
